Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and talented Videographer/Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw footage into high-quality, polished videos that inform, engage, and inspire our audience. This role requires expertise in using specialized software and editing tools to seamlessly merge content from multiple sources, incorporating visuals, graphics, special effects, voiceovers, sound effects, and music to create compelling final products.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the team to capture high-quality footage and make post-production edits under the producerโs supervision.
- Actively participate in the planning and ideation process for content production.
- Work with the producer and other team members to prioritize tasks and determine content priorities when managing multiple projects.
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, broadcast-ready content, submitting completed work for the producerโs approval.
- Record audiovisual programs, including music videos, documentaries, news, events etc.
- Organize and maintain an archive of all recorded materials.
- Ensure all technical equipment is cleaned, maintained, and kept in optimal working condition.
- Lead the selection of appropriate equipment, such as lenses, microphones, and lighting, for each production.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Managers and Directors.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Background:
- At least a Diploma (completed or ongoing) in Communication, or related fields or a solid work experience in videography and editing.
Technical Skills:
- Camera operation:ย Entry-level videographers should be proficient in operating a camera.
- Lighting techniques: should understand how to use lighting to create the desired effect.
- Audio recording:ย should be able to record audio for their projects.
- Video composition: should understand the fundamentals of video composition, including framing, perspective, and movement.
- Video editing software:ย should be proficient in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe After Effects.
- Creative Editing: demonstrate expertise in creatively and professionally editing videos across various formats.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Creative and opts for quality production.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Team-oriented mindset with adaptability and professionalism.
- Keen interest in creative industries and a collaborative working environment.
Language Proficiency:
- Fluency English written and spoken
